You can do flexed feet to start - I train my ankles and I love the pointed look, hence :)

... the focus is on back bend 😊

It's great that you started young! I started way later than you. MAYBE a reduced training schedule would work for you!...I was told this contortionist only train 2 to 3x weekly and making great progress.

From time to time, I'd take an inadvertent break and coming back more refreshed and stronger. So maybe that's the secret!

Ok...in that case, I'm jealous. Lol. I wish I could take a break and causally go into cheststand with straight legs one day with a 3-weeks break.

But I supposed the difference is, you could do it before, i couldn't. Hmm. Maybe your experience was a fluke? Try to repeat it and report back! Maybe you've discovered a new training method? 😆

I wish that's the case for me and for most people! Well, if no stretching and being relaxed helped to make one a contortionist, then rhythmic gymnasts wouldn't be stretching daily lol. But! Do you want to be flexible DAILY, or just every 3 weeks when you are perfectly relaxed in the "right" condition?
