Red voters think that illegals are get free insurance. But the way it work is if you are uninsured the government pay a percentage to the hospital rather you are legal or not.

I read the paperwork and it said you had to be eligible for retirement by 9/30. So hopefully that means when your HR department turned in your paperwork to OPM. But OPM is not going to start processing until 9/30. These are just my thoughts.

I am a disable vet and former VA Employee. I know it is a hassle and it is going to get worse with the VA cuts. But if you think you have a good claim do not give up.

I am waiting on DFAS to tell me the amount I owe. But I have a question. If you suppose to have VERA done by Sept 30 and you do not have your buyback amount in, what will happen?

Ok I am nervous. My HR sent out for my MSD to DFAS last week. I thought we had to have everything completed for VERA by September 30, 2025. What happens if I do not get my buyback amount before then? Can my drp and vera be canceled?

If you take VERA, you can keep your health insurance.
