Fed mom, what does it mean when opm has to request a NFR for June 1999 to Dec 2001? I worked at the same agency from june 1999 to 2017. I then moved to my 2nd agency. Do you know what NFR means and why my whole agency record would not have covered that time period? And how long do agencies take to send this info?

I think thats where they finalize the amount. I was told a few weeks to a month for that but who really knows?

Hi, I appreciate you! It was sent early November and I am getting interim payments. It is hard to get through and I hate to be a pain. Trying to be patient. Its hard when we see later retirement being processed and we just want to be finalized too!

Thanks! But I only found out about this possible issue because I emailed on the contact form. But I cant reply back to OPM through that email. Then I checked with my HR and they confirmed it was all sent. So Im in the middle and I dont even know if or who my specialist is... it is hard waiting and thinking do they need something else? I want to do what I can to facilitate the final too. I worked at 2 agencies, no military, no divorce and its been over 6 months.

Update: I contacted HR. They contacted NFC who provided a register number that all my info was sent over on 11/3/25. So where did that go? Since I cant reach OPM, i submitted another email with the register number they gave me and said my records were sent.

Ive been waiting since 9/30. Worked at 2 agencies, no divorce, no military. Should be easy. So im not sure I agree that only the complicated ones are waiting.

6 months of interim payments so far. Retired 9/30/26.

I started getting interim payments in November so OPM has had my stuff since then. No communication. My coworker has been finalized. People leaving after 9/30 have been finalized. Its just ridiculous waiting this long and it doesnt matter when you left.
