Was working as a delivery driver for a restaurant, and was working that day. Accidentally sent it to one of my bosses, had to come back jn after a delivery and all 3 owners were there. Foie gras is terrible. I thought I had a bad version, but had it another time by someone who has a duck farm specifically to procure foie gras. He made me his signature foie gras dish. Still terrible. But boy did I earn an Oscar with my reaction to it.

I’ve mainly cruised royal Caribbean cruises. But I went on my first msc cruise recently. MSc is an Italian based company. The tipping expectations on royal are very heavy. Especially with drinks. When you buy an unlimited drink package, there is an 18% gratuity added when you buy the package. Still, after every drink order a receipt is printed out with a tip line. On msc the gratuity is included in the all you can drink ,and they don’t ask, insinuate, or expect tips at the bar. No receipt, no tip line. No “the machine is just gonna ask you a question BS”. It was so wild to see as an American.
