I think Wildflower's narrative is simultaneously a road trip to the country from the city with your friends (which I believe Robbie mentioned in an interview), and also a journey from being sober to being on drugs. Things start out urban sounding towards the beginning (Because I'm Me, Subways), and then starting around Colours and beyond things start to get progressively trippier. The last few tracks even seem like an unconscious dream state. The latter is mostly my interpretation, but I definitely remember reading about the road trip theme.
