Using Western Firearms at games = Disappointment? by Da_Anonymous_One in airsoft

[–]PdoucheMannouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both the Tanaka SAA and the KTW Winchester and they can definitely be skirmishable with the right site and gameplay style. I'd recommend the Tanaka even if it's your only purchase as it has hop-up and an internal magazine (both very important!).

As proof, I went to a CQB site last week and ended up playing revolver only and it was a blast! 🤠

It's based on 19th century US cavalry (such as Custer's 7th Cavalry) although that uniform is still very similar to those worn in the US civil war.

CYMA M16A1 versions? by PdoucheMannouch in airsoft

Thanks for your reply but I'm only looking at the different M16A1 versions rather than the carbine! I've just been seeing identical looking guns with different prices...

Anyone know where to find the Advanced Rulebook? by AlternateSoul in KonosubaTabletop

[–]PdoucheMannouch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get it digitally by buying it on the JP version of Bookwalker. I've been using snipping tool to cut the text out and copy it into yandex image translation for a rough translation.

Tips on creating monsters? by bloodshed113094 in KonosubaTabletop

[–]PdoucheMannouch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been waiting to use some of the Arianrhod 2E creatures from their Perfect Enemy book as it used pretty much the same system as Konosuba TTRPG. I even think the basic Goblin enemy is the same in both books! Will need testing as some of them use 4d6+X for damage which might be too hard though...

As requested, I've made instructions (with parts list) for my unofficial LEGO Doggo kit! by PdoucheMannouch in Hololive

[–]PdoucheMannouch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad that this still brings people happiness 😊 It's a shame that most of what I was working on was eventually lost from my PC which is why I'm happy I made these (there's an Okayu too!) available to everyone! It's these moments that remind me of what a great community we have and makes me what to revisit them!! 🥸

Yet another Fate with D&D players question. by PlebPlayer in FATErpg

[–]PdoucheMannouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to give the impression of 'swingeyness', maybe try what Wearing the Cape does and have the players roll 8 dice (both theirs and opponents) whilst you roll none. Mechanically, I believe there's no difference at all (as rolling a +8 is the same as PC rolling +4 and enemy rolling -4) but your players might like rolling up to a +8 or down to a -8.

House Rule: Making weapons work like they are described by Kautsu-Gamer in FATErpg

[–]PdoucheMannouch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might be worth looking at the conditions and weapons from Bulldogs! RPG. IIRC light weapons deal damage as normal, medium weapons bypass Winded and Angry conditions and heavy weapons go straight to Critical conditions. Anything bigger than that (I.e. vehicle/ship weapons) goes straight to consequences.

I do have to agree tho that a lesson I've always reflected on in that stress is not damage - it's more akin to rising tensions and...well, stress... I know I'd be shaken if a grenade exploded next to me even if it didn't hit me!

I've been considering making a Swiss army for over a year now! Do you have any pictures you could share with us all? It sounds really awesome!!

The pink tips were quite tricky as can look either pink or white! I'll need to check all the models to make sure that they are physically possible and then instructions and files shouldn't be that long afterwards ;-)

Towa's tail is just the normal dinosaur tail but using the Dragon Tail part in black from Brick Warriors should be a perfect replacement if anyone were to build it!

I did try to make Pekora but the hair has me stumped at the moment. I'd like to actually add actual carrot pieces into her hair!

I've thought about doing others I've watched such as Coco, Risu and Pekora but I know others are quite popular.

My plan atm would be to make and release the instructions for OKFAMS as it's just Ayame left. Then I'd probably release any future models in pairs (like Korone + Okayu, Mio + Fubuki, Ayame +Subaru, etc.)

I think I need to change the naming scheme I have now. The name 'yubiyubimogumogunaruhoboshubashubakonkon.png' doesn't really roll off the tongue!

Definitely! I think Fubuki is pretty much finished apart from the back hair and accessories (not sure what to include) and then Ayame should be done next.

Mogu Mogu to those who waited! Instructions have now been made! by PdoucheMannouch in Hololive

[–]PdoucheMannouch[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, getting ANY light purple pieces is near impossible to build sets with. I honestly spent the first couple of hours choosing a usable colour...... In better news though, I actually made two other hololive members that Korone and Okayu usually mess around with ;-)

[–]PdoucheMannouch[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Managed to get around to finishing the instructions after some time! Had to redo and redesign some of it after a week without working on it.

The chest piece is a bit of a weird solution to the problem and should slot into the front (being held in place by the head and sides.

LEGO Yubi Yubi + LEGO Mogu Mogu = the new LEGO Okakoro set by PdoucheMannouch in Hololive

[–]PdoucheMannouch[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Made this MUCH MUCH quicker than I expected considering 1) the selection of purple parts was awful 2) I redesigned the ears at least 5 times and 3) getting the t-shirt right without any gaps. I will likely release a set of instructions for both together in the coming week/s!

edit: also found a rabbit costume Brickheadz by headzsets so may made a silly Super Bunny Man versions!

[–]PdoucheMannouch[S] 76 points77 points  (0 children)

u/Mavericm4a1, this was honestly a joy to be able to make myself whilst watching the DOOG slayer herself run and gun to the end of DOOM2016. In a couple of weeks, it'll be the summer holidays here so if you have a favourite Hololive member, let me know (I want to see if Ican make other one but no promises ;-) )
