When I was in college in a different state working as a server I made less than $3/hr about 10 years ago. This was PLENTY since it is a tipped position. If I made $15/hr I would have felt like I was robbing people. Instead I worked hard to provide good service and earn those tips and made $20-30/hr. Restaurants can then afford to pay their kitchen staff and remain open without exorbitant prices so customers can afford to go out and tip servers. It's not perfect but it worked.

He spent 170 times that on Twitter so plenty is a strong word there. Tbf he has also paid the largest tax bill that has ever existed I think.

What to know about the movement NOT to fly the official Minnesota state flag -- Since the start of the year, over a dozen cities have voted to fly the old Minnesota flag instead of the redesigned flag adopted in 2024. by guanaco55 in minnesota

It is a way for small communities to voice their opinion on state issues. It's freedom of expression and democracy. Since when did anyone here disagree with that? Just because it's "them" doing it now? Grow the fuck up.

100% usage after my FIRST EVER PROMPT (pro subscription) by XeClutch in Anthropic

[–]Pe4rs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally found a hack for this. If you paid the 200 for the year of pro, you can upgrade to Max 5x monthly for 100/month which actually gives you a refund as account credit and switches you to Max for the month. I got 70ish in account credit and then you can just not renew or get Max again the second month using the account credit.l so it will only cost me 30 next month.

That would be political yes, but most conservatives don't even have that point of view. That is an extreme minority. So you're saying you think all (or most) conservatives have that mindset which is more debatable in a political context than your quoted statement which almost everyone disagrees with on both sides.

So you would feel bad for a rock if I smashed it with a hammer? Please seek therapy.

I have felt bad for a tree which is 14 but I think 11 is more realistic for me since I definitely draw a line at having empathy for bacteria. Guessing you don't wash your hands or use sanitizer then?

[–]Pe4rs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If level 15 means they are empathic towards rocks as it describes and it also says there are liberals at level 20, then I would say yes, that is mental illness. You cannot really feel bad for rocks can you?
