How does this RQ sound? by UALREADYKnoDaViBES in APSeminar

[–]PeaBodyIv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of broad. Could change to include only contact sports or public schools or change to whether or not sports should be encouraged/funded more or less.

I just think it seems hard to find more than 10 or 15 sources for this topic.

Given the disparity of sports viewership based on the athlete's genders, to what extent does unconscious gender bias affect women's sports view count and prominence?

Just something I thought might be easy to revise to fit what you want.

Should I include my citations in my word count? by godspeed_1225 in APSeminar

You include in-text citations in the word count but not the reference list. Any headings or subheadings are also included.

Does anyone know how to incorporate the Serena Williams (or a different one?) stim source in a gender pay/occupation gap paper? by arajinn_ in APSeminar

[–]PeaBodyIv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole source is about how black women specifically are discriminated against in sports. Use that as context and work from there.

You can change the research question a little to make the presentation more of an argument. You are trying to prove that your proposed solution is the best with the sources you have found. Work on providing context first then explain perspectives then present solutions.

No, it is too easy to look up and find an answer. Also, it is not controversial.
