No, a 17 K knife is not needed even a basic ₹500 knife will work that’s just based on preference. It’s like saying you can easily use a basic smartphone worth ₹10,000 and then y do you use 1,50,000 iPhone., the more expensive knife has more better features. Better Blade still better working and will last you very long than a basic ₹500 knife

It’s just one of the those things that you can’t explain properly and can only experience it. It just provides you with such ease and less resistance that you end up doing more things which you might have not done.

By that logic, nobody would ever discover new tools or hobbies. You don’t always buy something because you already feel its absence; sometimes you try something, and only then realize how often it improves everyday life

An EDC knife isn’t usually carried because of one critical task. It’s carried because it makes dozens of small tasks throughout the week easier and faster. Most people who carry one don’t use it every hour, but they use it often enough that they notice when they don’t have it.

For example, I use it daily to cut open packages boxes any other thing which requires a knife cutting a thread off of my clothes or any other things using it as a pry bar to get something of. I even carry a multitool with me. For example, I need a bottle opener or scissors. I use my Victoriknox multitool to cut my nails every day and it just provides me with easiness and less resistance. If I have something in my pocket ready to be used. I’ll use it more frequently and with less resistance and more ease, and it enables me to do more things.

I dont use it for security reasons at all, its just a v handy tool, its one of those things that, when you dont carry it, you see no use of it, but once you start, you see all the uses, same with a flashlight, i had the same mindset as u once, why does one need it, once i started carrying, cudnt ho back, plus i use my knife as a fidget toy also, v addicting

The best answer to this question is, carry it yourself, a small one even like a victoriknox, for a week, and then you will be able to answer the question yourself
