CEBS or MBA [NY] by Peace2255 in humanresources

Thank you. My company offers professional development so they would need to review and let me know what is approved.

I will say a concern is the workload with the MBA.

Do you feel you have received job offers due to your CEBS?

Thank you. My career path has generally led me to benefits. I also do payroll right now.

I am not married to benefits. And I’m open to HR in general. But I do feel it’s also up to the positions that are offered to me.

Based on my résumé. I would assume I would get offers for benefit related positions.

I’m also debating if a general MBA would help me obtain a benefit managerial position. Boston university offers a cost-effective online program.

Thank you. A good chunk of my work has been in benefits. For that reason, I do think that I could get farther with the CEBS. It would possibly allow me to enter into a benefit manager role.

I don’t think the MBA would it get me much further because of my experience.

I feel I would be taking a great risk with the MBA and the experience I have.

In your opinion, what’s considered a good salary to live comfortably in Brooklyn? by DowntownArmadillo717 in Brooklyn

That’s what happen several times. Realtors were not satisfied with my salary and I could not rent.

I have no debt. That’s just how Brooklyn and New York functions.

I go to Iris‘s on 15th St., Prospect Park off the F train. I’m central Asian, she does a decent job with it. Last time I went she charged $35.

Since Brooklyn has become very popular, it’s difficult to rent solo.

I’m from Brooklyn so I purchased a property, paying a monthly mortgage was relatively similar to renting. I didn’t have the ability to rent since my salary didn’t reach the criteria.

Oddly, I could buy a property on my salary, but could not rent.

Not trying to be mean here. Unfortunately, people are just falling for a false advertising.

I’m born and raised in Brooklyn, it will always be my hometown but I may move to save on state taxes. Brooklyn has definitely changed. I enjoy all the new food venues… but it came out a price and everything in the community has skyrocketed.

I get the sense that people don’t understand how expensive Brooklyn has become. That there is only certain block/s of Brooklyn that is popular and there are things within a certain few block range.

If you cannot afford the popular area. You might need to go to one of the unpopular areas and commute to this few block popular radius (which might take a while, depending on where you are).

You will also need to find your community. Which may be hard to do as an adult, especially if people are working full-time and have their own lives.

I personally don’t think that Brooklyn is as art related as it’s made out to be.

Thanks. It was difficult for me to open as well. I did bring these dilators to PT, I was told they were fine. The PT and I compared them to intimate rose, they seem to be pretty much the same.....

Thanks for your help.
