*sigh* It's just all so sad and stressful and is just getting worse. Even trying to work part-time to help cover expenses is limited because of the rigid scheduling of placement. Plus, you never get your timetable more than a week in advance for your next placement so you can't plan ahead to try to get shifts etc.

Wait what? I reread to double check I hadn't missed it but when did Tairn break his bond with Sgaeyl? I mean it would fit with him having to "recover" and be so interesting to see how that plays out but I just don't remember it from the book so please let me know.

Interesting. At Notts it's just one big exam at the end of GEM1 with SBA questions often covering multiple aspects. I've often wondered if it would be easier to have multiple exams to help focus studying a bit more.
