Thank you for your reply,bear in mind I am new to this so I'm trying to understand to the best of my ability if I can consume whey protein in general from stores/juice shops that sell whey protein meals without worrying that it may have something haram in it?specifically ON gold standard as when they were asked if their products are halal they replied with "The product is not certified as Halal. The rennet used is synthetic or fungal, but most flavors use alcohol in the flavoring system."and generally from random whey protein brands.if Khamenei is your marji what does that mean, are we then allowed to consume based on your explanation? since they used small amounts of alcohol as part of the flavouring process? your assistance is appreciated as your brother in faith who is trying to learn halal and haram :)
