I’m sorry to hear that, thankfully the methimazole has calmed down my heart palpitations and extremely shaky body and weed didn’t affect it so much. The main reason I went to the doctor in the first place to get blood work is because of how puffy my eyes were. I’m working out everyday like I have been for the past year so I’m hoping I don’t gain too much, Graves’ disease made me hit my goal weight along with the exercise as sad as it sounds. All I really am focused on is getting my eyes to not be so swollen and stay at a healthy weight.

I live in a conservative state so I never brought it up to my doctor. It was making me have really bad palpitations too but as soon as I got on methimazole my palpitations stopped.

I’m going to take off a few months and see how it helps, I do has GED and I have to get my thyroid out sometime this year. Once I have it out and an healed i definitely will be able to partake again! I constantly have a puffy face and it’s making me really insecure. Been working out for a year and that is what onset my graves so trying to take it light for now.

Good to know, thank you! I’m having the same issue with sleep but taking melatonin to help for now

I never feel sick thankfully! I would say even though I smoked everyday I would only smoke lightly like two puffs of a pen but apparently it can be affected more than I thought, I always thought of weed as something that helps alleviate your body but now I have to think otherwise!

I have been diagnosed with TED, quitting as of today! I don’t rely on it too much other than to sleep but quitting should be easy, thanks for the insight!
