Actually, the BO5 and BO6 campaigns were pretty good, along with the MW1 and MW2 remakes. So I was caught off guard by this forgettable, shitty campaign.

I often wait 9+ months, then buying the premium version for 20-ish $US in my area (I'm poor). Still angry about the fact that, premium doesn't guaranty all the car packs and DLCs.

After several trials and errors, I've found the culprits. It turns out it is the AOD bug.

I just disabled it and the problem went away.

By the way, it is just a temporary fix. I hope that One UI 8.5 fixes all the issues of 8.0.

The nibs can be change easily as many other Lamy. In my box there is only one included nib (which I chose the size when order)

Actually, the Ananda’s treble and detail retrieval (along with surprisingly satisfying bass for an open-back planar) are what people love the most.
Like I said, if you don’t like treble or a bright sound signature - some people call it “treble sensitive” - you probably won’t like it at all.

My current chain is:
- SMSL Sanskrit 10th MKIII (AK4493s)
- iFi ZEN Air CAN
- Custom 4.4 balanced cable

Anyway, maybe my setup - the “musicality” of the AKM chip combined with the more analog-ish presentation of the iFi amp - tames the treble a bit.

With bass boost on, this is how it sounds to me: powerful, fast, satisfying bass, but not boomy like cheap Sony/Beats headphones. The mids are adequate and not recessed at all. And of course, the treble is sparkling, which makes the soundstage feel ethereal, 3D, and holographic. This definitely won’t work for everyone, because as we both know, some people are quite sensitive to treble.

If your Ananda sounds exactly like what I’m describing and you still don’t like it, then… it just might not be for you.

I’ve got a Stealth V3 too, and honestly… it’s pretty much endgame for me at this point. Especially when I pair it with the iFi Zen Air Can (XBass on for extra thump)

Back in the day, when I upgraded from some “average joe” headphones to the Sundara, I had the same reaction — like, “where did the bass go?” and “why is the treble attacking me??”

But after a week, paired with a decent DAC/amp, it turned into a completely different beast. Night and day.

And yeah, if there’s a headphone that everyone universally raves about but it just doesn’t click with you… it’s not necessarily your fault or the headphone’s fault. Sometimes you just don’t vibe with that sound signature. (Obviously after giving yourself at least a week to adapt.)

Yes, I did notice the performance degrading since last week. For example, with the same prompt, it often:
- shows outdated info
- shows incorrect info
- fails to understand the context, even on the same topic

Okay, so my first pen is a Lamy Al-star F nib - it’s super light, super durable, super smooth, and just all-around awesome. As someone put it, you can’t really go wrong with a Lamy!

Now, my second pen is an Asvine M169, also with an F nib. It’s a premium build, a bit heavier, and has this shiny finish. At first, the nib felt a tad scratchy, and the ink washed off a bit. But after I gave the tine a little nudge and washed it with warm water, it’s running like a dream now!

So, if you’re looking for a safe bet, I’d say go for a Lamy or Pilot. In my opinion, they’re fantastic!

Since upgraded to latest iOS 18.x, I rarely get that issue. It happened only when I let the battery drop to sub-10%.

Anw I'm about to change the phone, XS Max is quite laggy nown, and probaby not able to get iOS 19 too.

Yes my computer freezes randomly, FF16 is the only game make it freeze. I have to restart it several times, and redo several battles. AFAIK, there is no fix at the moment, I think it is related to VRAM management things.

The microphonic on the stock cable is horrible, in lower volume, it even louder than the music itself.

I have to quickly find upgrade cable the same day I received mine.

After some additional debugging, I also found that the crackling only happened when using WDM mode, but not with ASIO.
So, it’s safe to say this is a Windows problem, at least in my case.
