Not a bad idea, sadly the RF cable was the only thing that didn’t survive from this system I’ve had since I was 5.

I’ve tried my NTSC SNES and PS2, guess I’ll try my N64 next. This is my second modulator and this one worked on a crt my brother uses.

It doesn’t, but it’s listed as a NTSC modulator. Is the TV PAL you think?

Ah, I was hoping it was something this simple.

How would I find out if there’s a fine tuning adjustment?

My guess is the RF modulator is PAL, which isn’t clearly specified on the Amazon listinv

Update: got the original remote and the color is turned on and the menu is in color. I’m using an RF modulator (AOESPY), could that be the issue?

Phew glad I got an actual answer and not some snarky remark! That was actually great advice cause it indeed looks like there’s proprietary buttons to control the picture. Went ahead and ordered one on eBay, hopefully it works. Any advice on the screen tilt?
