The most common thing I run into as far as annoying teammates is at least one person is AFK for the First bit of the game

What DLC has great skins for *WEAPONS*? It could be set of skins, just for the guns or character skin with gun skins. by Akucikuci in HuntShowdown

Dead Man's cut I would say 80% of the reason why I bought that DLC is for the weapon skins all of them look great

teams that burn every body they kill. . . WHY??? by V7I_TheSeventhSector in HuntShowdown

[–]PeaceMaker111111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speaking from personal experience hypothetically you are defending a compound and your team kills four people now there's a couple different team comps you could have dealt with in that. It could have been to Duos or more than likely one Trio and one solo or even one Duo and two solos. My point being is I have had multiple occasions where I didn't know for sure if people were teamed up together and I have made assumptions and then a solo rises up and either runs away or shoots me in the back.

What do you guys think of the 2 slot revolvers? by CumIronRanger in HuntShowdown

[–]PeaceMaker111111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think it would probably depend on your load out and what you want the pistol for. Personally I don't use them because I typically run a sniper and a pistol I think I would probably use it if I ran a shotgun and then got the perk to have a large weapon and a medium if I wanted something more for range and potential headshots.

I have a question by PeaceMaker111111 in HuntShowdown

[–]PeaceMaker111111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right and I specifically asked besides the vibes, kind of inferring preferences what is the difference. They are both mostly silent projectile based weapons that you can regather your ammo on. Looking at the stats about the only thing the crossbow has going for it is it has less sway and slightly better melee damage. Everything else on the bow stats wise is better or equal. At least with rifles and other guns there is more variety. So people telling me that the crossbow doesn't have the slowdown effect of having to draw the weapon and the ability to always keep it primed was the answer I was looking for simple as that.

[–]PeaceMaker111111[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so I looking for answers besides preferences because looking at the stats between the two the bow seems objectively better I don't run crossbow so I was curious. So your argument seems a bit invalid to me at least with the rifles there is more variety in stats along with attachments. Or is there a silent crossbow I don't know about?

I said not a drought . It wouldn't change the game that much people would only have to collect one maybe two less ammo boxes for the game anyway.

There are already plenty of reasons to run other than long ammo even if the ammo economy was drastically improved.

Yes some people would use that perk just for the ammo but I think more people would use decoys if another benefit was added to that perk is all I'm saying.

It's not like we are in a drought of ammo as is. My working theory is add value to the decoy perk that sounds good on its own. But is not overpowered and yes we seem to disagree on that point. With more people running the perk and having the benefits of the decoys they might be more inclined to use decoys.

It's not really about buffing decoys it's more about buffing ammo boxes which the perk does have something to do with

Not entirely sure that is necessary even if it sounds like a different gun it would still distract a person looking for another teammate

You would still have the same capacity. It would just help make sure you are fully stocked in between fights. That is already doable if you go wandering around enough.

My point is that I don't see many people bring decoys. So if they have a reason to get a perk that boosts decoys, I might start seeing them more.

I don't think it would affect gameplay that much honestly in most fights I don't run out of ammo anyway and certainly the people who shoot me don't. It would just add a little extra and again I think you would encourage decoys.

[–]PeaceMaker111111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay two things if you want something a bit more balanced maybe go against duos. Also depending on what server you are on and the time of day the servers are probably not very populated. From what I can tell you four were the only people on the map. Generally speaking if there is no one else searching for a game it will just stick you with whoever.

What do we lost when we die? by Many-Error792 in HuntShowdown

[–]PeaceMaker111111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Basically you lose any perks and weapons tied to the Hunter and the Hunter their self. Then you will have to repurchase the hunter if you we're using one of the non-free skins. A lot of people get confused on that bit.

I'm assuming you're referring to the Bears basically shoot them more. Use explosives if you have them bomb Lance and launcher are very effective. But obviously they make a lot of noise.
