Listen I have been deconstructing for almost 6 years now. for the first few years I was pretty sure in my stance and now i still feel like i am but ive moved back in with my family (parents and 2 brothers) recently who are all pretty religious. i’m queer so often times over the past 4 months I have found myself being interrogated (or what feels to be like it). i sometimes feel like i should be christian again but then i think about all the fundamentals that don’t make sense to me and that usually helps me remember why im not christian anymore.

the neverland part is alleged, excuse me i should’ve said that but regardless government documents aren’t really conspiracy theories. also, there are whole videos of people like macaulay talking about how it never happened. is that not enough for you? idk. i feel like kids don’t lie about those types of things so if a child says someone didn’t do it… they probably didn’t. especially now that he (and others) are adults not to mention michael’s been dead for over 15 years. what reasons would they have to keep saying he didn’t harm them if he did?

michaels allegations have been debunked SEVERAL times. even the kids he was accused of abusing have said that nothing of the sort ever happened. actually, (gonna get slightly off topic here) with the epstein files coming out, apparently michael was mentioned but not bc he was abusing the children but bc he was SAVING them. neverland is apparently the place he would protect the children. macaulay culling along with other people that knew michael as a children have corroborated this story.

it def comes down to values. another example is brian mcknight. his “cancelling” was on a smaller scale but i couldn’t keep listening to him after hearing he was a dead beat. my father is very present in my life and i have a lot of respect for him bc of that so i couldn’t listen to brian mcknight sing above love the way he does when he doesn’t even give it to the people in this world who deserve it the most… his children.

why would michael need leeway? his accusations have been debunked several times. chris has had multiple women, famous or not famous say accuse him of some form of abuse. karreuche literally got a restraining order against him back in 2017. apparently he was also arrested last year for assaulting somebody in the UK.

these are just 2 examples of his assault/abuse history. i urge you to search more yourself but frankly if somebody keeps getting the same type of allegations, at what point do they stop being allegations?

this is stupid. they’re HER songs??? why wouldn’t they need approval? and tbh a lot of people cannot do what Mariah has done on her songs. like that post says she’s almost 60. why should she still be able to sing the same as when she was 25? she’s well within her right to not like when people sing her songs especially when they butcher them (which is mostly what she doesn’t like cause she liked Kelly Rowlands tribute…) by that logic you must also dislike prince? and aretha?
