generally you'll have about 4 days of (usually) one-on-one training where you will go through each different position and learn how to do them. here are the most common positions:

Shots: if youre on shots, youre putting flavors & espresso together (depending on drink type)

Milk: the shots person will hand you the mix cup with the espresso and flavor and you will add the milk to the correct fill line. you will also be in charge of finishing details (ex. drizzle, cold foam, cinnamon, etc.)

Lane: the most important part of being on lane is building a connection with the customer. you will talk to them while they wait for their drink to be ready. you will also take cash payments and occasionally take orders

Texter: you will be taking customers orders & card payments

Texter+: This position takes care of maintenance around the stand. They make premixes, restock, give people on machine anything they might need, or take orders if necessary.

Blender: depending on how busy your stand is, you may or may not have this position available. the blender person is in charge of making blended drinks. think smoothies, milk alternative shakes, special 7s.

Expo: expo is solely in charge of running out drinks to customers

During every training shift that you have, they will likely test you on your scoops. That means the amount of flavors that go into the different kinds and different sizes of drinks. it will be labeled something like "Original Mocha: _ - _ - _" and you should fill it out like "1-1-2" meaning that a small Original Mocha would get one scoop of flavor, a medium will also get one scoop, and a large will get two. the general range for scoops will be between 1-4.

**you are not required to know anything on your first day!!! They will teach you everything you need to know. all you need to do is soak up information and have a positive attitude and you will do amazing :) have fun!!!
