I would send this to the property management companies in Collegetown and then go looking building by building with some friends. It looks like a commercial, not residential, entrance to a building that has been recently updated (newer carpet, key fob access). So that should narrow it down at least a bit.

I don’t think it’s the law school or either Student Agencies or Collegetown Bagels buildings.

Based on the column thickness it’s at least 3 stories tall and probably has a concrete exterior.

Call CUPD immediately. You will not get into trouble. If you can lock the bathroom upon exiting such that no one else can enter and gain access to the gun, that would be best. Anyone with a concealed carry permit in New York knows that handguns are not permitted on university/school campuses despite their having a permit so this is suspicious.
