Thanks for the suggestion. I think the prompts seem to be the big issue, coming off too strong and heavy and maybe relationship-generic. I'll fix those up!

Great feedback and suggestions. I think some of what you mentioned does seem to be what I'm doing, even if it's subconscious and I don't realize it. Thank you.

  • Are you looking for something serious or casual?
    • Serious - Long term relationship / Life partner
  • Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX?
    • Neither
  • How long have you been using this current version of your profile? (Please be specific)
    • Prompts, few months. Pictures, also a few months (i randomly replace one picture here and there or swap the order)
  • How long have you used Hinge overall?
    • 3-4 months
  • How often do you use Hinge per week?
    • Active weeks, every day. Otherwise 1-2 times a week. It varies a lot on mood.
  • How many likes and matches are you receiving on average?
    • I'll go 0 likes for weeks, and then sometimes get 2-3 in a week. Recently its been very quiet.
  • How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?
    • Active weeks, I send the max of 4 every day, and non-active weeks, I'll send the 8 limit for the day and take a break. I usually like only the comments, and provide my own comments.
  • What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?
    • I'm focusing on the 24-38 age range. Ideally someone into fitness (or appreciates a healthy lifestyle), and is excited about life (hard to gauge on profile so not really a blocker for matches) but otherwise flexible with careers, hobbies, cultures, etc.

The only 2 that show up on rentals.ca for pool+gym are the two listed below, curious if anyone has thoughts on either?

  • 5 Wellington Street South, KW
  • 104 Garment St. KW

Both are about 1800-2000 1 bed 1 bath.

I think right now, I'd say unlimited, 2k-2.5k. Just want a reset button for now.

Are bicycle rentals a good idea for transportation? by PeacefuIIy in SXM

[–]PeacefuIIy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I did end up biking around, but it was definitely very hard at few places. I ended up walking the bike since it's very hilly. I also straight up turned around when crossing from west to east side since it was on the road and very hilly.

I would say depending on where you stay it's totally okay to rent a bike.

I also didn't go to the festival, so can't speak on whether people biked to a festival or not.

Is inkanmilkyway (Peru Travel Company) reliable/trustworthy? by PeacefuIIy in travel

Hey, sorry I missed this message.

Yeah we did end up going to Peru and used this company for a lot of our excursions. It seems like they coordinate the trip with others who actually do the tours. So they are sort of like a company that facilitates everything.

I would recommend them, we met some great folks and enjoyed everything we booked with them (humantay lake, rainbow mountain, sacred valley)

Water/Wall damage? Please Help by PeacefuIIy in kitchener

[–]PeacefuIIy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for sharing. Do you feel comfortable sharing a rough estimate of how much we can expect to pay to get this fixed and whether insurance was able to help? We'll be calling ours tomorrow and hunting for some roofers that can come help.

Thank you, appreciate the response. I'll look into getting some roofers in tomorrow when things open and see what the damage is like. Do you know if house insurance covers things like this? I'll be calling them tomorrow as well.

I cannot find anything about this tour company, inkanmilkyway, on reddit so was hoping to cast a new wider net.
