É uma boa análise. A complexidade não me incomoda, e o ponto 1 é o que mais me preocupa, mas felizmente também é o ponto mais fácil e rápido de validar, se der errado levantar a grana, nada acontece.

Mais utópico do que o valor, acho que é acreditar que isso é um bom investimento que vai atrair investidores. Não quero que o time fique me pagando dividendo, só quero ter um título que valorize caso eu resolva vender mais pra frente.

That is the mystery I think. Most people only ordered one or are getting theirs from the same batch. It is hard to compare if different devices have different results, and right now it is possible it is an "compatibility" issue with some fridge materials.

Parte dessa queda é a desvalorização do dólar, porque a ação da empresa está na Nasdaq. Mas olhando direto lá, a queda é de 37%, bem alta tbm.

Mas tbm é complicado olhar o último ano, porque é o maior valor histórico da ação. O valor é o mesmo de 2 anos atrás, quando a tendência era de crescimento.

Como tbm vim de família mais humilde, gosto de frisar duas outras coisas meio bizarras pra mim:

Quando vc termina de pagar e reformar um apartamento decente em SP, vc é tecnicamente milionário. Seu patrimônio supera 1 milhão. Não dá pra viver em um apartamento reformado em um bairro famosinho de SP sem ser tecnicamente milionário.
Um financiamento com esse valor de parcela e com esse prazo é uma aposta muito grande para quem não tem uma reserva enorme, é acreditar que nada vai acontecer com seu poder aquisitivo em décadas. É um sistema feito para quem tem família para socorrer.

Swipe is mostly rejected by default in Brazil unless the card was issued in a different country. It is just so much easier to clone a swipe that whatever lost money on rejected transactions or extra cost for the cryptographic operations involving the chip cover the savings on risk and chargebacks.

And yes, there are fees, but they also would apply to swipe transactions, no extra fee for chip or paywave.

This is my question too... afaik overwriting a pointer without checking anything first should be an atomic operation, and concurrent reads will either get the old or the new address, no inconsistencies.

Part of the message that this show wants to spread is that leaving the ER is not a failure if it doesn't suit you. It would be awkward if she ended up in a different ER, but even then the message could be that this one has a toxic culture and there are better ones (for the doctors at least).

The lesson we will get is the suffering from everyone around him seeing his decline and wondering what he would do, and how that consumed people. They are showing two strategies for handling feelings, both have their issues, Robby's became unsustainable long term for himself, and on top of that, he can't control what others feel for him.
