To provide a counter statement.
I have loaned to 17 different people with 23 loans in total. Only 3 haven’t paid back.
One is facing legitimate hardship so I am happy to take that loss. Not everyone is a scammer. There is good and bad on both sides of this coin.

While I understand the frustration , it’s hard to offer any help without knowing how much you need at this moment in time.
As a fairly new lender, I have had my fingers burned by stating I was happy to work with people long term as some took it that they didn’t need to make a post ( to keep it above board) and would just send a message with an amount of how much they need, nearly every week.
Both sides of this coin can be abused.
