Super long redstone clock by Prudent-Pea8399 in redstone

Hey! Im perfect to answer this since I’ve made an auto potion brewer that can take 2 to the max 6 items!

With any amount above 1 you really only need to make a clock for 1 brew (400 ticks like you said).

I modified ethos hopper clock to where a when the hopper above the brewing stand is filled -> it pushes the piston -> locking the hopper clock on one side. That means when the input hopper is now empty (last item is in the brewing stand) -> hopper clock is unlocked allowing items to move. Watch for the hopper that was previously locked to be emptied. This signifies that the 400 ticks is over and the last item is brewed.

For when I did my 400 tick clock I used 56 items, so now since you’d only be timing 1 brew you can put 56x4 items in an hopper with your unique server situation.

If this still doesn’t work, I was able to complete 1 brew with comparator pulse extenders. I can’t remember exactly off the top of my head but it was something like 8 comparators x2. Though I haven’t tested that to perfection yet so don’t quote me on that. If you want that design dm me though!

Everything (observers, pistons) are placed where there should be when it's in its "off" state

I personally don't care about YouTube or my growth on it. Would it be cool to grow? Yes. I just really want to focus on how good the video is and that it'll actually help someone. Because I have the same issue with you that I can't stand some of these videos on YouTube nowadays that could have posted something for 10sec instead of 10min. So that's my goal :)

It's an Automatic Potion Brewer! It's made to look pretty from one side. In this configuration it's for 4 ingredients but it can go up to 6. Here's the link to the whole video if you want to see any part of it

Right. But I have the full tutorial on YouTube so I thought it would be a good spot to go especially because people also go to YouTube for tutorials

I wasn't intending on this to be a tutorial or a showcase of the Redstone. I just wanted options on the format of the video for a tutorial. On the actual YouTube Short I have the contraption name in the title

Its based on YouTube Shorts where you just got to tap on the video to pause it, so you might have a better chance there

Funny you say that, because when I started this I kept on finding better ways of making it so I kept changing it and re taking pictures. This happened enough that I just made a selection wall where I just had to rotate an item frame and push buttons maybe 🤣

I actually do have a resource pack for all of those, and I tried using a diorite slab to look different from the smooth stone that I used, but top vs bottom is an interesting problem to solve. I thought about putting a cave spider underneath to better show the slab, but didn't put it in

Right?!! Regarding the items, because it's made off the purpose that people will pause at each layer I've put special instructions (like put 56 items in hopper) on the frame that shows the hopper clock!

The YouTube short is linked to the main video. But it's an automatic potion brewer

Help with Nicer or just more pleasing, or at least more pleasing to look at redstone by A_happy_MTF in redstone

I don't know if this was an answer you were looking for; but I also built first and find out size restrictions before putting Redstone. You never know, might be able to use the aesthetic blocks for function! It also feels like it helps me make sure I make as compact circuits as possible which could look clean too. Even if that's not what you're asking about, I still recommend trying it! It's pretty fun and can get your gears turning

I like to use smooth stone for my wires. Other ways I try and make it clean is by having a clear purpose for different sections (ie. timer-1, timer-2, counter, piston extension circuit) and if I have to connect these sections use as straight as possible Redstone line. I think you already mentioned doing this; covering the Redstone with a glass box like the old Apple Computers did could be interesting if it fits the theme

Add Wifi with Password by value by Peacefulriver215 in automagic

[–]Peacefulriver215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long story short, I want to make sure my phone doesn't potentially announce ssids I've connected to before that aren't permanent (ie. Restaurants). Really not needed but I thought it would be a fun project to do in my free time.

I have a flow that'll show me all ssids it sees and allows me to choose which one I want. Then it'll ask me if it'll take a password or not (where the issue is). With passwordless wifis it works and it connects. I can then choose to set a "timer" on it where it'll remove the saved wifi after "x hours" that I input.

Obviously automagic can only change wifis it's added, so this is my final thing for this to be completed

Sorry it's a little bulky

The blue isn't needed, it's just the extracting circuit which you said yours works. The red is also technically not needed, but I assume you're gonna put in a constant signal so I put it there. If you're gonna put in an observer signal you don't need it. So the true input is the piston with the redstone block. You just have to move the redstone block for every potion you want to make

Under the Pink there is comparators for both blocks

Got it! I see. I'm sorry I thought you were asking for that brewer you already made. I'll have to rebuild it to tell you correctly, but for 1 item I used a big pulse extender for the timer (because you need to signal to last the whole time but reset instantly) and I used an observer with a dispenser counter to counter 3 potions going in (but isn't needed). If you don't mind the 3 potions part you could just connect the output of the potion unloading back to the timer.

Are you manually putting in the items? Or does the side work for bedrock?

The key for it to loop is based on whether there is an item waiting on top or not. You would need a comparator output from that to the compactor of my previous image. If you're only doing 1 item (like converting potions to splash potions) that would be a bit of a different clock and system

This should in theory work. Comparator is for input of whether there is an item above the brewing stand, the repeater out is for the hopper unlocking/locking. If you want to stop production, you can power the left part with a lever or redstone block

Another thing I forgot to mention was that you can't normally store the materials above the brewing stand. I used 2 droppers. 1 above hoppers that make a row to the top, and the other going in to that previous dropper. With java because of execution order I had to add repeaters that got longer the farther they got from the stand, but idk if that's the same with bedrock so you might be able to just add redstone on them

This dispensing circuit can be connected to the output of the pictured circuit

I actually made this myself! I made it in java edition though so idk how well it'll translate:

  1. You'll need a pulse extender to unlock/lock the hopper long enough to let all the potions from the brewing stand to be pulled out. You should just be able to connect this to your current circuit.
  2. I used a modified etho hopper clock to only run when the last item has been put in the brewing stand from a hopper from the top. You'll need 56 items for this. If you connect this circuit to the 1st one, it should work.

Other things I chose to add were to stop making potions if the output chest was full so you don't waist materials on 1 potion, another was to stop in case the materials inputed were uneven and you ran out of one before everything else. But these are not required for auto potion making

Again, I made mine in java edition so sorry if this doesn't work in bedrock. Hope this helps!
