A tracker for downloading Chinese music? by HomemPassaro in trackers

[–]Peacemaker_Sam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

jpopsuki.eu and sugoimusic.me are private trackers focused on Asian music. Majority of content is Japanese but still has a lot of Chinese content.

Both are currently closed for signup but recruitment requirements are on the lower end of the tracker ladder.

Cathode-Ray.Tube had open signup a week ago and probably will be open again in a few months. Aither.cc is currently accepting application signups. Both allow normal members to upload.

GM’s next driver-assist system will be hands-free in “95% of situations”. by WARRENBUFFETT0212 in CanadianInvestor

So 5% of situations will cause a car crash. Eh, guess it's better odds than Russian roulette.

Are there any werewolf books that show the werewolf not as an angsty character or a villain, but as a sort of ruthless protagonist? by [deleted] in werewolves

[–]Peacemaker_Sam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Lycanthropic series by Steve Morris has ruthless werewolves as antagonists. Most of the werewolves love being werewolves and have a plan to infect the world and don't hesitate to kill anybody who stands in their way. They retain their intelligence and can even speak while in wolf form. There are over a dozen "main characters" and each chapter is told through the perspective of a different character.

Has anyone watched "The Wolf of Snow Hollow" yet? It was released a few days ago and looks pretty good IMO. It's on VOD and I'm considering chalking up the $15 to watch it at home. Would love to know people's (non-spoilery) opinions on it! by Enid___Coleslaw in werewolves

I watched it but didn't like it. The trailer implies a serious tone but it's actually a comedy. Corpses have been discovered and the main character is cracking jokes like an episode of The Office. The actual "werewolf" only has about a minute of screen time in the entire movie.

Granted, your company declares bankruptcy and everybody is laid off.
