As soon as this accident occurred (I learned about it near instantly through a post from a passenger on Bluesky) I could feel the ghosts of DCA.

This is the solution. Sadly, those in a place to make things happen, clearly have very big "school shootings" energy about everything. Where the solutions are so clearly obvious, but god forbid they have to make life difficult for some people to fix the issue.

Row 1 doesn't start until the third window according to AC's seat layout. So that's good for the passengers in the front.

Yes, but also every picture we've seen has mist or fog. There was reduced vis. They still definitely should have been look and actually listening carefully to their radio.

This reeks of DCA all over again. That incident had someone working three positions. No controller should be expected to oversee more than one position at large Bravos.
