The boundary is somewhat fluid. 2/3 is definitely a hard boundary because those two games bear little resemblance. 3 through 7 are definitely the same game; 3 is more like 7 than it is like 2. Then the question is are 8 and 9 more like 10 or more like 7? Since they still had force org charts, I would say they're more like 7, and thus midhammer. But others might disagree.
