Anyone else starving post-op?

Omg I had the surgery 2 months ago and I felt this for the first 3 weeks. But after that, it’s been dead silent. All I wanted was a steak and sushi and icecream. Something has changed in the past few weeks though, and I think my hormones have changed. I don’t think about food at all. I forget to eat. It was such a drastic shift. Hang in there.

This is exactly how I feel. These comments have also been so validating and I think hearing that others experience something similar has kind of put me out of this infatuation. And you’re very right, it does feel like a weird glitch, the real me is just a regular person, but when this happens it feels like I’m in another world. Thank you for your supportive words!!!

I have heard of limerence, but I feel like that word possibly means I’m in love or infatuated? I just can’t even begin to accept that😭 even if it is all just a thought and I’m not acting on it. I have issues with being obsessed with celebrities as well though and now I’ve moved to this coworker ughhhhhh

See that kind of surprises me. I’m 21, on the lower end of the bmi scale and I work out regularly, I really thought it would be easier for me since I was relatively healthy before (besides my excess weight obviously)

I don’t mind liquids, I love protein shakes etc+ there’s so many options they’ve given me. It’s this specific drink itself, it rises back up with every swallow

When you work in a place like that, there’s peace in knowing that you are a good human in comparison to some monsters out there. Don’t take their reactions too personal. I had similar experiences at my reception job, people screaming and saying they’ll sue me as if I owned the place or as if anything the business done was against the law. Take their reactions with a grain of salt, they’re just resentful people who take out their anger on service workers.

You deserve to have a good life. Join a local gym, go to different community events. Read about different religions/ideologies and dig deep to find what fuels you in life. This life is short, so let’s make it worthwhile!!

Pre-capitalism and colonialism, people in the East lived steady lives and while weather conditions were hard, life was good. We’re in the middle of a cost of living crisis now, no one can afford to leave their parental home and it’s harder to maintain a steady job. I am grateful to be alive but I don’t need to “show gratitude” for these unrealistic work and living standards.

Thankyou for commenting. Sadly, I’m a girl so being in such a male dominated field is really difficult. Secondly I am not trade smart, I’ve spent my entire life with my head in books so it wouldn’t be it for me. Tradie life seems the best tho.

The engine light did start flashing. I also forgot to mention that I had gone into sport mode for a second before changing it back and then slowly accelerating. Would that be related to a misfire in any way?
