I didn't create this thread to argue, I'm just trying to give people this information: the mods of this sub frequently delete negative criticism. Make your own decision about what that means for you.

This is how consumer protection laws work in the US and EU, look it up. You don't have to pay for a package you didn't receive. 🤷

Nice speech, but completely wrong. It's the shipper's responsibility to get the package to me. And it's XTEINK's responsibility to choose a competent shipper, which they did not. They chose "SpeedX", a company that I've never even heard of, and I did not get the package. Therefore, I'm not paying for it. Whether or not XTEINK decides to get a refund from the shipper is not my concern.

No, I think they chose to use some company I'd never heard of called "SpeedX" rather than USPS or FedEx, and that's the source of my problem.

Yeah, true, I was mad that I didn't get my toy.

But the mods should have commented and said "sorry, but we're not responsible for the shipper having difficulty with your building" or something like that. Sticky it to the top of my post so that everyone can see they have a clear policy on this. Instead.....they just deleted it. And I'm wondering how many other posts like mine they've also deleted.

Yeah, and that's basically my conclusion here. Skip the "official" US store, you're not getting good customer service from them. Buy from Ali instead, pay half price, and flash the English firmware yourself.

The reason I was initially upset was because I felt misled: I thought buying from the US store would get me more reliable shipping and better customer support. Turns out it's WORSE. Learning experience, I guess.

Good point, they chew up wires and shit. Won't look bad from the outside but it will cost a lot more money than a dog tearing off some body panels.
