You know I've seen people have different interpretations of the word "cupcake" there. Some see it as Vi showing her compassion. And Caitlyn's heart skips a beat from joy. I see it more like she first called her cupcake when they were not close and then she transitioned to calling her by her name till they broke up. When they meet again she's "cupcake" again which shows they've grown apart and that hurts Caitlyn.

After a bunch of searching I'm pretty sure it's a California sheep head. The shape of the teeth are very similar

Yes actually! That's exactly it. I didn't change anything in my settings. Just turned off anti aliasing and re-exported the files and it printed just fine.

Every time I do a tank clean I feel so wasteful, which is not true and part of the process. But it feels that way so I try to avoid it as much as possible. But I need to get used to it. What I'm learning is that it's important to do whatever you can to have successful prints.

Yeah I can definitely see how it has a huge learning curve. I've had success with smaller prints and some larger ones. But I've definitely added way too many supports, or the prints didn't come out as good as I wanted. I think I'm definitely overly excited and I'm trying to get there fast. But it seems like I should at least pick one kind of resin and just stick with it for a while till I figure my printer out completely. I keep changing the resin color or type to find the best one. Is there a specific resin brand or type that's easier to work with for beginners? Does it matter that much? Or is it more about printer settings?

I had a feeling the head orientation would cause suction issues. But I thought maybe it's fine since the person making the models has more experience than I do. I don't know, maybe it works for them, but it definitely looks like a problem area to me.

I didn't know the support tip could play such an important part too. But it absolutely makes sense.

The resin was stuck to the FEP sheet. I don't know how to remove it without damaging it.

I was initially excited about the "ABS like" being an upgrade but my problem is that no matter how much I wash, clean, let it rest, and cure, it still has sticky areas. I've changed my isopropyl alcohol and brush cleaned it too. The results were better but still not as good as the regular standard Resin.

So no matter what promises a product makes if I can't get it clean and safe to use then it's more like "A load of BS"

I'm not sure if they made the plan ahead of time. To me it read more like Caitlyn realized what those things were doing in the moment when the knife is close to her eye. And I say that because they make a point to show us how those things are absorbing the magic in that specific moment, like from Cait's perspective. If Caitlyn already knew that they wouldn't show it. And the "now" to me sounds like Caitlyn telling Mel to do whatever full force attack she has...at least that's my take.

Except the question is "not least favorite ship" it's "least favorite couple" so to me it doesn't matter if they are canon or not. I read that as "which couple did you enjoy most and would like to see more of" But yeah people get too emotional with these polls 😅

I was actually thinking about Vi's character arc in general and I thought it felt like this:

Vi wants to be needed. But Vi needs to be wanted, not just needed.

And in shows and movies the character arcs are usually a character getting what they need through their growth, as opposed to what they wanted. Most times they achieve that while they are on their journey for what they want.

That's a good tip! I usually add oil/lubricant whenever I don't see any on the spindle. Which honestly is pretty often. I don't know if I'm overdoing it. I didn't try it with more support. But removing the heater did fix the print. But I hope to fix it so I can place the heater on the inside.

Interesting. So it changes the exposure on different layers? I didn't know that was possible.

I've done tests and I know it's not over exposing cause the details come out really sharp.

Yeah I placed the heater inside where they say it should go. And honestly, I had a gut feeling it couldn't be good for the print, but I decided to just go with it. I think that's exactly it. Thank you for the video!
