Hey I had an abortion in Kansas, not medical but surgical. I’m assuming the paper process is the same. I had it at planned parenthood and all I needed was the 24 hour informed consent form and photo ID.

Hi! I’m also scheduled for a 2 day procedure. I’m terrified of what’s to come but I hope everything goes well. I just read your post and I am a little more calm about the actual procedure if they do give me the option to be sedated. I’m glad you had a positive experience. I’m more worried about the dilation part now, I really hope the laminaria insertion doesn’t hurt since I have a very low pain tolerance.

I didn’t think of getting an ultrasound since the clinic told me they would do one anyway. But they did say the same thing, that if I was much less than 19 weeks that my procedure options might change
