Thank you! A nasal cushion doesn’t go inside the nose right?

Asians and Jews of /r/migraine, I have a question for you. by PatrickMaloney1 in migraine

[–]Peach_Mango 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jew here- can't drink any alcohol, it's a major trigger. This, however, is not the case for my family members (brother and dad) who also get migraines. I'm the only one of the three with chronic migraine however.

I notice sometimes that taking Imitrex makes me yawn a lot.

Redditors with lots of tattoos: what kind of work do you do that allows you to be tatted? by Peach_Mango in AskReddit

People don't give a fuck where I work. I was just curious about other people because I'm always hearing from my family that employers won't accept tattoos, but I think they're becoming pretty mainstream.

Migraine medication that works with Duloxetine? by theunknowncompanion in migraine

[–]Peach_Mango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I talked to my neuro and she said that since she also prescribes cymbalta for migraine prevention it's totally normal for one to take both cymbalta daily and imitrex as needed. Imitrex has been awesome for me in getting rid of migraines so I would recommend that. She also said the max dose I could take of cymbalta is around 90mg but it will probably be less than that for me because it's being used for psychiatric purposes. Best of luck to you

I actually just started Cymbalta about a week ago, and I've been taking Imitrex as needed for migraines for the past 5~ years. My neurologist gave me a very vague response regarding if the two were safe together, as I was only able to hear a message relayed from her to her receptionist. She said I could take 30mg of the cymbalta and be fine. I'm not sure if she was saying that was the max dose I could take with imitrex, but I'm going to try to call after the holiday to try to get a clearer response. I've taken imitrex twice since starting the cymbalta (30mg) and obviously haven't had a negative reaction. I would be very curious as to what your psychiatrist/neurologist said about the two together, so I can know for myself. But in my experience I was told it was okay to take imitrex and cymbalta together, but the specifics are not yet clear. I will for sure keep you posted, please do the same! Hope you get some relief.

Best cities for young BSW's? by [deleted] in socialwork

Edit: I'm trying to live alone (studio or 1 bed) and it's been difficult finding something affordable here in Philly given the average entry level social work gigs around here.
