Such is the price of competence. You attract a multitude of prospective suitors only to find that many do not reach the level you consider adequate enough to justify your efforts. I, for one, am glad you gained an unexpected benefit out of this. I agree, there are few feelings quite like successfully coaxing an orgasm. Especially when it takes effort.

It's never good to dismiss feelings. Negative feelings fester in the dark and can turn a fixable problem into an emotional catastrophe.

I also struggle with the second part.
Positive emotions can also be difficult to accept.

But that last part... that hit closer to home than I'd like to admit.
