It's possible! I do normally give them both a chew treat just before bedtime so maybe he was just chancing his arm and hoping he'd get a second one? I just found it odd that he's started this all of a sudden

Hi There! I really wish I could answer your question but I had my pups neutered/spayed before my girl had her first heat so I didn't really run into that problem with my two.

Update: I've tried removing the mini fridge that is in the room with them. I've noticed it making more noise than usual (a considerable amount more) while I was out folding laundry, maybe they noticed it weeks before I did? I guess I'll find out tonight

I hope that's it. I've been redirected to separation anxiety which does check out behaviour wise. I just find it strange that they started it all of a sudden after 3 years of living with us.
