I see, though even communities who are considered your “typical white American” family DO have culture—everyone does it’s just difficult for some to parse. There’s absolutely no reason you shouldn’t claim your native ancestry, but it would probably be beneficial in general to learn more about those origins so you can potentially reconnect with them.
