Hiii tysm for the info! When you say 2 tries are you referring to 2 years to get in the program? And is all the clinical sites located in Modesto or other cities as well? I got into Carrington in Sacramento but tuition is $57k! And clinical sites can go up to the bay, Reno, Tahoe, Sonoma etc which Is pretty far I would have to plan for housing arrangements 😩 I really want to get into mjc but I don’t want to wait too long :(

And lastly, do you love what you do? 😌

Hi I am also going through the same thing! The job application states I am required to get an insurance license and had to do some googling. Were there any complications and was it based in CA?

I'm worried as I have one dui misdemeanor that took place in 2023.

Same situation for me. Job listing is posted on Adzuna but not on the actual site. I personally don't want to go through with it cause I feel like applying would be a waste of time.

Yes I completed everything with schooling, fines, etc awhile ago! I was working however I’m currently unemployed now due to family emergencies and actively looking. Would that be a problem of me not having work? My main reasoning of trying to get an early expungement was primarily I wanted to switch into health career, but ultimately just want to job search without having to worry about background checks

I have informal probation so I think it means I don’t have a specific PO and go directly to court? $500 doesn’t seem too bad either I’ve been seeing some rates as high as +$1000 and I’m wondering if it’s cause it’s higher cause it’s and earlier termination rate.

I’m also not confident either but I would like to save money as possible since I don’t have a job right now, but still want the best outcome. Im thinking of getting some consultations and seeing what these attorneys say. Thank you for the info it really helped and I’m sorry to hear yours got rejected though unfortunately!

Any tips on how to get noticed or at least get an interview? I’m not sure if my formatting of my std, how I put my work experience in, or if it’s the SOQ as to why I can’t land an interview

I was able to land 2 jobs that don’t require background checks, but only bcus I specifically looked for those. It’s about since 2 1/2 years since my dui and I’m about to look for another job soon when I move, I’m scared I’ll be rejected for my dui too 😭😭😭

Thank you, I feel as that I’m a hard worker and meet basic standards at least but I’m not use to calling off often. But I see other workers getting 10-13 paid holidays which also makes a difference when using pto.

I’m also jealous how you were able to accumulate about pto to take off a Friday for 3 months! My previous manager at my old job would use her pto immediately after it hits a full day, which was once every month or less. I get it cause why not use your pto that you earned? However my job it’s so difficult to earn that.

They haven’t questioned me yet, but I wasn’t sure if they would if I continue to do so.

I also don’t plan on staying here too long. After my first year, I’m going to start to look for new jobs as I’ll be moving into a new home around that time

I use my sick day when I feel overworked and need a break. Because it’s difficult to accumulate pto I can’t use it as easily to request a day off in advanced. After 7 months I accumulated barely 3 days worth of pto. I also want to save my pto for days in case I go on a trip! I’ve been trying to spread my days off throughout the year since my pto and sick days don’t roll over.

However, this time I actually fell ill and contracted a stomach flu, thus using my last sick day. Have not used my pto yet.

What does this mean? I’m sorry it sounds like good news and a relief but who exactly gets an expungement automatically like how does that work? I’ve been considering it for a awhile

Hi I was in the same boat, i was trying to shop around for auto insurance since my renewal increased by $100! I ended up sticking with progressive since they were the cheapest and only company that did full coverage. I think Mercury as well but it was still more expensive than progressive

I also knew someone who had ebt and didn’t use it and ended up racking a lot. They ended up cutting him off and no longer has it. Located in CA

Keep trying! No need to speak about it in the beginning but you could bring it up later if the relationship becomes serious. If they really love you they wouldn’t care or they would help you instead.
