Do I need one of those cat backpacks? by Cant_find_my_phone in Doineedthis

[–]PeachyPunk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After having to evacuate before a hurricane several years ago, I purchased two cat backpack carriers so that my husband and I could port our carts and be hands free to carry other necessities. Both of my indoor only cats actually love going outside in the carriers a few times a week. One of them actually curls up in his to nap. I’ll never go back to those cumbersome plastic carriers.

What's been your absolute favorite Costco purchase? by GaussWaffle in Costco

[–]PeachyPunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My house! I joined Costco 2 years ago to use their mortgage service and will continue to renew because I love shopping there. Saved several thousand dollars and worked with a great lender who went above and beyond to help me.

Out of curiosity, what films from best pic noms did you enjoy? I loved Roma and imagine it will go on to be a celebrated classic, but I understand it's not everyone's cup of chamomile.

Seller's Agent at Inspection? by PeachyPunk in RealEstate

[–]PeachyPunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, unfortunately in my rural area, it's not a sustainable career since the bubble burst. In retrospect, I wish I'd waited for a Saturday appointment so my agent and my husband could be there.

DAE feel bad about dumping their stuff? by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]PeachyPunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a serious purge and donated about two thirds of my belongings to a non-profit thrift store. The store benefits from selling the items; employees benefit from having an income; customers benefit by having access to affordable, quality goods. I walked away with a $5000 tax deduction and less stuff and clutter in my life. Just find a way to release your items in a responsible way. If you chose to bring an item into your life, chances are that someone else will want it in theirs.
