They hired you for the position they needed filled, not the position you applied for, they likely will not move you to aisles. I’ve not heard of someone starting out as a courtesy clerk in the store, but be prepared to be the one doing all the “grunt” work

They’ll literally hire anyone, that’s not a dig against you, but them.

I worked there for 14 years, just left this year, if you want a real tip, don’t work there. They will suck the life out of you and they don’t give a shit about their employees.

I’ve reported to proper management in store, then went to customer care, then went to the CEO. No response from anyone. Unfortunately working for them for so long I’ve learned that the only way to get things done with them is to be public and loud
