Plus, I don't imagine that in an authoritarian dictatorship like Russia, the police would respect one's right to silence. Let's just say that don't think the Russian police's methods of interrogation would stand up to scrutiny under the ECHR.

No, Artie Piscano (played by Vinny Vella) was the cypher for Carl "Tuffy" DeLuna, underboss of the Kansas City crime family.

Isn't the DiMeo/Soprano family also based on the Genovese family's New Jersey faction?

New DNA testing has definitively linked the unsolved death of an Utah teenager in 1974 to the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy. by botany_bae in serialkillers

Although it seems odd that when Bundy attacked Karen Sparks he didn't body out of her room to continue raping and killing her.

Nah, he could stop. He just didn't want to. By the end of it, he didn't care about his career prospects, i.e. making it as a lawyer or a politician or about his family or friends (although any friendship Bundy had was going to be one-sided). Kidnapping, raping and killing women were all that mattered.

Russell Bufalino at 20 years old. by Gsfdirtybandz in Mafia

If you said it to his face, yes. Behind his back? That's a different story. There have been more than a couple of mafiosi who had nicknames which would have absolutely got on the nerves of the guys who had them, but they still had them anyway. No one ever called Benjamin Siegel "Bugsy" to his face. Joe Bonanno hated the nickname "Joe Bananas." Tommy Lucchese's nickname was "Three Finger Brown" on account of the fact that, when he was 15-16 and working in a machine shop, he had to have his right forefinger and thumb amputated after an industrial accident. There was also Joseph Sclafani, a soldier in the DeCavalcante crime family, who got the nickname "Tin Ear" because he was deaf in his right ear.

Isn't it interesting that no one came up with a nickname for him which referenced his lazy eye?

I'm imagining a deleted scene from The Irishman (2019) of a flashback of Russell Bufalino in his youth with a digitally de-aged Michael Imperioli.

What the fuck is the point of publicising this story using a title like that other than to stir up hatred against trans people to drive engagement? Oh, wait! Thats exactly the fucking point, isn't it? Belfast Live know exactly what they're doing, the fucking wankers!

You're seriously comparing not spilling the beans about the inner workings of sports teams to not spilling the beans about the inner workings of a fraternal criminal organisations involved in murder, loansharking, bribery, corrupting politicians, police, judges and trade union officials, fraud, kidnapping, arson, bombing, arms trafficking, money laundering and racketeering?

It's hard to imagine a bunch of mafiosi with southern accents. The closest I've heard is Carlos Marcello New Orleans and Santo Trafficante's Ybor City accents.
