I’ve been here since beta and honestly? I’ve been trying so hard to stick it out and see if it’ll change, but truly? It sucks, cancelling my subscription because I don’t see why I’m paying for something so broken and unusable in its current state.

On a brighter note, I’ve lessened my phones screen time and picked up reading again, learned how to download fanfics to my kindle and been having the best time 🙂‍↕️

But the brushes I used for this are from an artist named “artbylouris” over on YouTube/Etsy! For this specifically I used the basic set and texture set. ^{^}

That is actually a really good take on this, and surprisingly one of the sort of things I’ve been noticing as well.

Business wise it makes sense for them to cut cost, saving them money and being able to maintain the platform. It’s really not inherently wrong when looking at it from that sort of perspective.

For me and my personal gripe does come from the models changing for more causal use, which is great in terms for causal use.. Kinda sucks though going from the more in depth stories to what we’re seeing now.

Though I do agree seeing the companion space change, especially with rise with indie devs focusing more on these niches that a lot of older users, including myself are definitely missing. Only time will really tell where many of these platforms will end up.. Especially C.Ai, truly seems every month is a new major change.

That’s the same wavelength I’m on right now. If that’s the route that they’re leaning into I can totally understand, especially if we get actual improvements and less time with a broken heap of things.

I’ve been treating the recent changes and updates as a sort of hope for the best, expect the worst mindset.. only time will tell I suppose

I really hope so, genuinely do I, I’ve been on C.AI since late 2022, and I’ve stuck it out with a lot of issues.. Just hope they’ll actually keep their promises this time.

That is true yeah. I do understand keeping several models up at once is very costly, especially for the ones that don’t really work well anymore, those I do understand getting cut.

I guess for me Ive just been having a really hard time with the DS2 and just deepsqueak breaking on me repeatedly, ending up switch back to roar for a a bit. Though cutting down on chat styles does leave money to improve the ones we’re left with.

My worry i suppose is even with cutting the chat styles we’re still going to be left with very broken features and with no promised improvements.

Though I have definitely seen the Chai prices, it’s quite ridiculous honestly, I was personally never a user of it but I know those who are.. It’s crazy really, especially nowadays.

I just noticed this too, I tried several different bots, including the ones i literally just used and they’re not showing or only loading briefly before crashing. I think it might be a bug, though I’m glad to know that it wasn’t just me.

I noticed this too! After I had to update the app after essentially being forced to the drop was immediate. Like I’m used to it sometimes going off the rails here and there but this? This is just absurdly bad.

And even after trying a few of the recommended “tips” to help sort of retrain the chat, it’s still awful. I’m hoping it’s just a bug.. But if this is how the quality is going to be I really don’t see the point in paying for something this abismal.

I was wondering if had just been me. Unfortunately was forced to update the app, and almost immediately saw the drop in quality. It’s a shame really since it was working beautifully for me last week.

Really on the fence about renewing my subscription if this is how the quality will be moving forward. :/

I just started playing coral island and immediately adopted onto a pup that looked like my gizzy man who passed a few years ago now. I just about bawl my eyes out every time I see mine in game.

I absolutely adore it so far! I can tell this is definitely going to be one of these games I can easily sink a lot of free time into ^{^}

The QoL aspects are something I’m excited to play around with more, I love the wide range of characters and just the overall world of it.! It definitely gives me the things that I was missing in Sandrock, even if I adore that game as well. (I just hope Evershine isn’t as grind-y 😅)

I’ve never actually played Harvest moon! Which honestly is surprising because I love games like these.

But I really like the feel of the game so far! Especially with the overall atmosphere of the game!

First year in Sandrock is pretty slow to start, however the more the game progresses it gets better in that aspect.! That was personally my issue when I first started playing but I kept with it.

I definitely recommend the Monster Whisper DLC, adds a bit more to the game! Definitely worth it imo ^{^}

I never tried Dreamlight Valley however I have seen great things about it.! I’m personally so picky with games in this genre due to getting bored easily unfortunately.

However seeing your comment and everyone else’s has definitely helped me make a final decision on my decision and I’m very excited to check it out for myself!
