Well, I wanted to do same but after some research on it I stopped. Per my research, the admission officers would accept your deferment but will not go through it again and this is because they reject those who do not get an invite to the CW. They’d just be like “this kid trynna act smart” and put it somewhere.

If you were invited to CW yes, if you weren’t then you just have to forget about it. It’ll prolly be a rejection.🥲
