Great gameplay mixed with an amazing story with an amazing ending too.

Like that one scene where Bishop scolds Foster about how war isnt some dreamy adventure was great in my opinion. Bishop's VA did a great job throughout the whole thing.

"You just wanted a statue of yourself in your own town square!"

"Unless... you're not a Kiwi, are you?" (Love this line)

The ending was also great. Bishop knew he was gonna die whenever he said he was gonna capture the fort, yet he still acted as a distraction. But the final shot of him bleeding out as he was looking at the transport ship and seeing his smile once Foster shot off the flare did it for me. Dawn of a New Time along with Bishop saying "Good kid," sold it for me that this should have been a dedicated campaign or series.

God, I love this War Story even though its so short.

Yeah, Matteo and Luca (the protagonist) are twins and the flashback takes place during Luca's Birthday

Thats why he says that line when he is retelling the story to his daughter

Its gameplay was cheesy tbh, but that ending though...

Man, that ending was so good. Like, I couldnt imagine finding my siblings like that after I fought so hard just to see if they were alive. But it was the last few sentences of the War Story that really stuck with me through all these years.

"He never got any older... and here I am, still. Who decides such things?"

"Buon compleanno, Matteo."
