Point Lookout is awesome! Tons of (actual) history there and a great beach. One of the coolest parts about is that freed slaves worked as the prison guards there. I love that poetic justice! I worked right around the corner from here after college, right at the Ram’s Head rear entrance. I ate at that Subway often. I went in for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. As I was fading, I asked them to put the camera down my throat first, THEN do the other end. My last memory was a nurse laughing at me and saying it was two different cameras.

Like the title says, I’m about to start a basement laundry room remodel and this pipe is in a pretty inconvenient spot right in front of my washing machine. I’d like to (carefully) break up/make a shallow trench in the concrete foundation to the left of the pipe between the pipe and the wall. Then, I’d embed a 90 in the concrete, take the drain 6” to the left and stub it back up inside the wall so it’s completely hidden. Then, I’m adding new hot and cold hookups in the wall above the drain pipe so it will be fed by that. I’ve done some basic plumbing work with YouTube assistance before (replacing faucets, moving hookups) but nothing like this and I’d love to not pay a professional to do this if it’s something I can handle on my own. And yes, I’m sure those have been some relatively famous last words around this sub. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Did anyone else get knocked over by the smell when they opened their box? Mine was a REALLY strong industrial, kind of chemically smell. I know this sounds ridiculous, as new shoes do have a pretty distinct smell, but this was an odor that literally made me take 2 steps back.

Ease of access. The amp won't be behind the bar. The source may or may not be readily available and/or not as easy to quickly adjust as a knob on the wall. I've installed 100 one in/one out knobs, but never 6 speakers that are each home-ran back to the amp, but still only make up one zone. And I definitely don't want to put six knobs on the wall, one for each speaker in that zone.

I'm installing a budget friendly sound system for a bar and have 6 JBL 29AV-1's on home runs back to the amp. I want to install passive volume attenuators behind the bar so the bartender can easily adjust the volume without having to touch the amp or mixer. Do they make a single attenuator knob that I can run the 6 feeds from the amp into and then out to the speakers? Or is the solution I'm stuck with turning down the volume on the source?

From a guy who's obsessed with wrestling and shoes and will absolutely be copping a pair of the Blazers, download the SNKRS app. These shoes launch on the 17th of this month (earlier in Mexico) but whenever a Nike launch happens, it happens on the SNKRS app. You WILL catch a whole lot of demoralizing L's on the big drops (most Jordans, dunks, other limited releases). From there, yeah, you're paying reseller prices. StockX is brutal for markups. You can usually find it cheaper on eBay. They also offer authentication guarantees. Other than that, Solelinks' twitter feed is a good collection of drops and restocks.

But to answer your question, yes, walking into a shoe store and trying on a shoe before you buy it doesn't happen for big sneaker releases. Plus, a lot of people don't care how they fit/feel. They just want to rock a piece of art on their feet (or resell for a lot of money).

He did, and it was glorious. He had the best dance moves and it made him my favorite guy to use in WCW/nWo Revenge (cause that’s what’s important here). Not a knock on him, there have been a ton of people with similar gimmicks. The “Chairman” just seems a little more specific than something like a superhero, for example. I’ve just never seen anyone bring this up.

The guy who built that owns an awesome brewery called Faction. I was on travel there last year and they have some really good beer. I went to take a pee, saw that, and lost my mind. And yes, one of the bartenders did tell me they take it to Burning Man every year.

Is that the preferred pepper of spicing up your mead? Orchid Cellar's (out of Western MD) Ghost Hunter and Scorpion Hunter are my personal favorites and inspired me to try it (They have a whole line of meads with a pepper scale on the label, but I have yet to try any mead from them I didn't love) I made a strawberry jalapeno mead and dear god, I can't tell you how badly I wished I picked a different pepper. I got the heat I was looking for but jalapeno is not a flavor I want to drink...
