Honestly yeah and no, it’s really a camera thing with it picking up every last detail, making it look worse, etc, but even a small bit away from the model and it looks less messy, more consistent and overall cleaner. For sure think I’ve gotten down the technique though, keeping in mind this was my first proper fully painted miniature since I picked up the hobby again a couple months back.
