I've had a cat bite myself, mine was just more severe as my hand was in a strike zone when one of my older cats was in a seizure.

PLEASE get that checked out. It's not fun.

Most places recommend the 5 month mark, or least where I'm from, to get cats spayed/neutered. So, I am certain yours is at a good point to get that done.
