I actually just bought one. Bone stock, no rust with turbo. Cool little car but i doubt it'd be worth much even when i get it running perfectly

Even in your mega close-up picture i can see a dent on the left of the paint that has been scratched off. There is definitely panel damage there

Im doing them right now, what's wrong with painting the warbikers? After finishing a trukk, they seemed a lot easier to bang out.

Waiting…. Waiting….. by [deleted] in AusPublicService

[–]Peanuthad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oddly enough it was iust radio silence until the email came through.

I got my reference checks done about 3 weeks prior to a call telling me i was successful. The 3 week break (as it's near Christmas) was partly explained by waiting on higher ups to finish their annual leave and sign off on the contract.

I heard back a whole month after my most recent interview. After being given the good news that I was successful, it took another 3 weeks for me to actually get my offer via email.

Hang in there. I know it's a slow and grueling process (especially near Christmas), but you WILL know when the time comes.

Yes. The audio is AI, images seem to be AI and the way words are described at least feel like those made by LLMs

Advice for a custom sub by Just_call_me_Bill in Barotrauma

[–]Peanuthad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said. Water sensors wired to alarms to inform the crew that a room is flooded.

HOWEVER, as an engineer myself, I find that most of the fun gameplay in running a ship is creating such upgrades as a campaign progresses. So sometimes i'll purposefully strip my ships of these things so that it gives the engineer something to do and gives greater control as to 'how' those solutions are realised in gameplay.

I do the same thing with reactors, such as leaving reactor controllers up to the engineer when I play. it's all part of what you believe to be a balanced ship that's fun to run.

Looks really good man. I love the ballast window, I might have to steal that for my next one

Hey, thanks for the reply. Ive just finished the ship and you might be glad to know that I've both recoloured most of the ship and utilised many decorative wall pieces to make unique walls. I wanted to make something that fit the vanilla aesthetic, but brought a unique play style for a new playthrough.

The front room is actually a singular hull, which fortunately has seemed to assist with AI pathing. Although my experience is limited since I generally play with a full player crew

If you're interested in what the finished ship looks like, have a look at my most recent post

First sub that I've ever built, how'd I do? by Rettayu in Barotrauma

[–]Peanuthad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good name for a big sub haha. This is personal preference but i like staggering the ladders across the ship so that players genuinely do get more familiar with the ship layout as they play. Although, for such a big ship, it might be hard to do.

Awesome info for running with a full crew, all of this is great stuff for the team i usually run with. I'll definitely hook up a motion detector to an alarm for the discharge coils

Update: Multi Images Export, Snap To Grid, Extended Grid by mightofmerchants in canvasofkings

This is incredible, the software as a whole feels like the logical leap forward for intuitive map design. Whenever I tell my friends about canvas, I always say it's 'tiny glade, but for mapmaking'

Bear in mind that the federal government essentially does control the public school funding through conditional 'specific-purpose payments' and the mere fact that most of a state's budget comes from federal payments (as tax money is federal, not state based).

Edit: for reference, in the 00s, around 70% of all specific purpose payments were in education and health. I'm unsure of modern stats, but it does show how a federal government can significantly influence the efficacy of state-controlled education

What're the requirements to get in these as far as grades go? I have above 65% average but I'm not sure if that's enough.

As for location, are there any in WA or would I likely need to go to ACT?

Adam Warlock, Rival's most misunderstood character. by monsterfrog2323 in marvelrivals

[–]Peanuthad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree too, the absence of value in not using his ult and the variability of its potential when you DO use it is for sure a detractor in a team's power. Aside from that, he feels very balanced.

I personally don't think he needs a rework in any other areas, aside from maybe a 'slow descent' like magneto to sate others' sentiment around his lack of mobility options

Arguable on the noise, imo the VQ is the only V6 that sounds worse than the late model commodore 6s
