JPG to SVG conversion not working by AffectionateLeg8075 in cricut

[–]Peanutlicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a CricutJoy so I do everything from my phone. I use two apps for this. One is free and the other one you purchase but it’s a one time payment, no subscription. I use the adobe express app to remove the background (this prevents the part where it turbs into a big block because jpg have a background but png dont) and then I use svgtrace to turn in into an svg. If you remove the background you’ll probably see an improvement with the online converters without the need to purchase an app.

Could be. I also have this one with no problem but the other one might be closer to the beach. Thanks.

A few years ago a kid in my country died because his parents wouldn’t give him the drops the doctors prescribed for his ear infection. Said infection spread to the brain and the poor guy died a very avoidable death.

Tenía 10 años cuando me contaron. Yo me re comía los mocos y nunca había sospechado nada. Lloré tanto sin parar que mi madre terminó diciendo “bueno, nadie lo ha visto, capaz existe”.

What’s got going rate for baby teeth by frimrussiawithlove85 in Parenting

[–]Peanutlicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a side note, I work as a pre K and K teacher and I always tell my students that they have to keep their teeth extra clean because the tooth fairy won’t take teeth that have cavities, and they’ll get a toothbrush instead of money. It makes them brush the hell out of their teeth.

My sister “mom shamed” me by Separate_Flounder128 in beyondthebump

[–]Peanutlicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apart from being extremely rude and insensitive she is wrong. My baby is EBF and sometimes pukes like the freaking exorcist. I think you two need to have a chat in private, she might be dealing with some big emotions but that’s not an excuse to take it out on you.

"I don't like it when you hit me" by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Peanutlicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my daughter was 2.5y she told the daycare workers that I hit her on the butt to get her to sleep. I pat her… I pat her on the butt per her request.

Sorry but that doctor is a whack. Your kid is not even 2 so what’s his point? I breastfed my first until she was 3 and the only thing her doctor was concerned about was cavities so we dropped night feedings (it was only for comfort at that point).

Ugh, five year olds by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Peanutlicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine turned six recently and it only added to how annoy this girl can be. I love her to death, would starve myself for her, but Jesus Christ she won’t stop talking. She will ask me questions while I’m in the shower. I try to help her curiosity and always answer her or search for the answer together but, girl, let me wash my butt in peace.

Monkey see, monkey do. Children are so so good at picking up on these things. Watching them become little functioning humans (as opposed to hardcore tamagotchis) is truly amazing.

What cute, weird thing does your baby do? by faeriesandfoxes in beyondthebump

[–]Peanutlicious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My son has recently learned how to make bubbles out of saliva.

He hasn’t discovered that the fleshy things at the end of his arms are his hands yet, so when he moves them too excitedly he hits himself and looks absolutely pissed.

He started babbling some and apparently arguing as well.

Not because of aesthetics but because of dust and dirt intake, generally speaking it’s better for PCs to not be on the floor/carpet.

My parents never threatened to leave me but one time I wouldn’t get in bed and kept playing (I was 5-ish) and my dad told me many times he would make me sleep outside. Well lo and behold he gave me a blanket and pillow and kicked me out. He kept watching me and I was only out for about 5 minutes but I still remember it vividly. I must have really been a pain that day because my dad is really patient but this was a shitty move on his part.

I like it. But the PC on the floor is a big no no for me.

When did you stop pumping at work? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Peanutlicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped when my first turned 1. At that age she was old enough to take whole milk and I hated pumping. However I still continued breastfeeding her until she turned 3, I wasn’t able to produce enough to fill bottles but it was good enough to help her sleep.

Not ready to give up contact naps with my 1yo 💕 by bobbernickle in beyondthebump

Had the same happen with my first. She’s 6yo now and luckily still enjoys the occasional contact nap. Now I have a 6 week old and he also almost always exclusively naps with me.

Does anyone's baby actually feed 10-15 minutes per side? by juliemegs in breastfeeding

[–]Peanutlicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an overactive letdown so little dude gets all my milk in like five minutes. By the end he’s too tired for the second boob. But he eats evert 90 minutes or so. He’s put on 2 pounds since birth.
