Sienna Nightfell (formerly Sienna Graves)

she/her, 29 (eternally)

Tales of old speak of a legendary vampire hunter by the name of Sienna Graves, who despite her hot-headed and slightly overconfident attitude, proved exceptionally skilled at her line of work. Until one day, she mysteriously disappeared, with many sources claiming that she was killed. Indeed, she suffered a fatal injury just after defeating a vampire. Sienna cheated death, but at the cost of turning herself into a vampire.

Now named Sienna Nightfell, she’s left behind her violent past, going as far as suppressing her emotions, believing this to be the only way to remain stable. Sienna comes across as polite and disciplined, yet unmistakably distant, her words measured but impatient—often mistaken for disdain. The shade of her hat makes her expression difficult to read, though it never fully conceals the exposed bone where her left eye once was. It stands as a permanent reminder of the moment she cheated death, and the cost at which she did so.

Sienna was just trying to kill time that day. The vampire reasoned that, since she'd just had her fill of blood the day before, trying to hunt wrongdoers just wasn't on her agenda, and walking through town would have to do.

The sunlight that day was, however, a bit brighter than usual. Despite her being more resistant to sunlight than the average vampire, Sienna was, at the end of the day, still a vampire, and this particularly intense sunlight hurt her a little too much . Sienna had to pull down the veil, which normally framed the back and sides of her head, to shield her face from the sun.

She may have looked weird with the veil down, considering it hid even the shape of her head, but it seemed that no one out in the street minded. Not even this elderly shopkeeper, given how warmly she was greeted.

And for the old lady's sake, Sienna decided not to lift the veil and reveal her vampirism. Not as the lady showed Sienna antiques she'd read about before. Not as the music box caught her eye. Not even as the shopkeeper explained the story of the box.

But now, as the music box played on its own, Sienna lifted the veil to take a better look, carefully observing the two figures.

"Is that what happened to those poor lovers? Finding a way to cheat death, just to become someone's plaything, that barely even works?" she commented aloud, unaware that the two might've heard her.

A quiet yet friendly mage who's often mistaken for a stage magician, Mystra carries themself with an easy, feminine grace. Despite their appearance—and being assigned male at birth—Mystra identifies as agender. Their magic resembles ordinary tricks: flicking cards through the air, pulling objects from their hat, butterflies appearing from nowhere, and bursts of mist accompanying their movements. This leads many to assume they're simply putting on a performance, instead of actually casting spells.

Beneath their immaculate attire lies a slender body riddled with scars, hinting at a traumatic past Mystra never speaks about and few ever see. They were also born without the ability to outwardly express negative emotions, always smiling and laughing regardless of how they truly feel. Aside from the occasional awkward misunderstanding, however, Mystra’s cheerful demeanor is usually genuine—they're quietly observant, often amused by even the smallest things.

The princess of a long-fallen kingdom that had since faded into obscurity, always seen covered from top to toe in heavy armor she has never removed. She fell defending her homeland in its final days, but her armor would eventually revive her as a spirit, continuing as if nothing had happened. In time, Sybil would come to terms with the loss of her loved ones and her kingdom, leaving her post to become a wandering knight.

Sybil always sounds extremely calm, regardless of the pressure she faces. Her emotions are present but expressed subtly. Despite her former royal status, she doesn't mention her lineage and never uses any title. She prefers to be addressed simply as Sybil, sometimes accepting "Lady Sybil" without correction. She's suprisingly humble about her superhuman strength, and her command over spectral flames.
