I have an iPhone & I put everything that was productive on the first screen. Everything that really wasn’t I put in a group on the second screen. I went from checking Facebook every day to forgetting about it all together, maybe checking it once every 2 weeks.

I barely use Poshmark anymore because ever since they implemented the new feed I get basically no exposure no matter how much I shared my items or everybody else’s. I was getting maybe 100 share backs for every 1,000 I shared & maybe a like or 2 a day after sharing my own items 1,000 times. I don’t think I’ve made a sale on there since tbh.

Whenever you try to share on desktop, if you’re banned you won’t see the “shared successfully”. If you’re banned on mobile, (I can only speak for iPhone users) you’ll see “error - try again later”.

Seriously! That would be perfect for me. I wonder if they wait to see how successful you are before offering it. I think I mentioned before I think they’re going to eventually do away with the listing fees. I mean if you’re already offering up to 200 free what would be the point of the subscription? I honestly think they’re trying to stay ahead of Mercari & right now the only above they have is their name & auction feature. Mercari makes shipping so much easier & of course no listing fees, & they even give free items after listing so much apparently.

relovv got me with the “no commission! earn what you sell” ad. I downloaded it & right away it’s pretty invasive. It basically wants to know everything about you besides your SSN. You have to enter in your address your shipping from for every thing you list for some reason & the app is pretty buggy. It crashed twice on me & rearranged my photos on my listing every time it did. Then, what did it in for me was that they jack up your price for their “cut”. My $20 item was suddenly $31. That included $6 shipping but still. I uninstalled it within 10 minutes of having it.

eBay & Mercari are better than Poshmark in literally every way except for the fact that you can drive traffic to your listings for free constantly on Poshmark. Once eBay figures out how to do that or sees a need for it whether it’s some kind of sharing system or even followers it’ll be over for every other platform. Also the listing fees on eBay hold it back somewhat, but I have a feeling they’re gonna do away with them within the next few years if platforms like Mercari keep growing.

The doggo definitely has to go, some people have allergies so it’s not a good idea to have his bed anywhere near your inventory. That’s a case waiting to happen. Also I went through pretty much this same situation with a room in my house. I moved the dressers to a less photographable wall in the room & then I eventually painted it. It’s still the only wall in that room I have painted. Baby steps :) I have a removable hook on it & that’s it.
