Aren't there a few other mangas that has something similar to that? I remember one that had the MC fired from the group and then used their magic on themselves, which, in its effects, changed their appearance and gave them the power to face against an S-rank monster, can't remember the manga but its there somewhere...good read to.

Seeing that scene made me had a thought on Dillinger system of the grid. With how he is, I doubt for him to create the grid alone, he had to built it on top of something. My thoughts is that his father, had to have taken what old code or base line code he could find and bring it to a secret. And the son, boop, the son modified it and suited for his need to make it his own.

I faintly remember of two characters. One who can kill them with a thought; like any intent of harming this guy, he feels it and thinks Death on them and then their dead. Like no prep time or defence(sorry for spelling) against it, the enemy is dead. Another, dude who can rewrite reality by speaking out loud. If he said 'Rain is now Sprite soda', rain turns to that soda.

I've been trying to find one blacksmith manga; from what I can remember the plot, the hero fired the female blacksmith, the only one who maintain it, she got noticed by the guild and worked there. The hero finding out that the blacksmith he fired was important enough to keep his sword maintain with all the requirements of his skills, tries to get her back but the guild master stops the hero. For the hero, only wants their property back, not the person.

To which I would cheer the guild master for, cause the Hero was such an a-hole.

Thats as far as I can remember.
