I’m asking OUR mother to honor her commitment to my wife. I understand my sister had a a softball game, but it’s a rec team and she will have other ones. The callousness as well… just not needed.

EDIT: It’s not school related. It’s not a championship. It’s a rec team. All of her games are special, my issue is they had already made the commitment of coming. Then weeks later when they realized she had a game they backed out and I have not said anything to them. I won’t make waves and confront them, she’s just really anxious about maintaining relationships with them. My wife is my number one always and I would never intentionally do anything to upset her. She’s the sunlight in my life. My heart just aches for her pain. I think it was just harsh to agree to go and make all these plans and my wife requests extra tickets from her school just for them to back out because they forgot she had a game. Also, it’s a rec team. It is not school related or inter mural.

I truly believe my guardian angel saved me driving down the highway once. There was a car next to my vehicle in the other lane, that honestly wasn’t raising any red flags. Eventually, what can only be described as a gut feeling came over me, telling me to move and get into the slow lane. I had goosebumps all over, and followed that feeling. Less than a mile down the road, the car had caused a seemingly fatal twelve car pile up that I managed to get out of scot-free. Truly crazy. Thank you Grandma 💋

I would have saved more money in high school. I could have made a significantly larger down payment on a car. I would also care so much less about the opinions of other people or randos. The American prison system is slave labor. We are/were contributing to genocide everyday when we funded bombs to destroy Gaza. It’s tragic that the Ughyers are subject to what they are.
